In the main screen you have a view of your town, information on your current levels of resources, access to your advisors, and various useful links.
Forums and Help These links take you to the forums, where you can interact with other players outside of the main game, or access documentation, ask questions, etc.
Events This shows you how many new events there are - click the link to open the Events window.
Mailbox The number indicates how many unread messages are waiting. Click the link to go to your mailbox.
Highscore Click to see the ranking of players. You can sort each column in the ranking by clicking on it.
Logout Logs you out of the game.
Game time MedievilWars has its own notion of time. Take careful note of this time if you wish to coordinate events with other players.
Show World/Country/Town These links allow you to visit other nations, explore your country, or go back to your own town.
Resources The table shows the available resources and your current amount of each. The color of the number indicates how close you are to the maximum possible storage. Hold your mouse over each resource to see a description, your current maximum storage, and your current production (each 5 minutes). Click the resource to jump to the building which produces that resource.

[edit] Town Info
This link takes you to the Events page, showing you events from the last 7 days. Below the events section is a summary of your production levels, showing how much of each resource you produce in 5 minutes, including any bonuses you have from research. You can also change the name of your town by clicking the Edit link.
[edit] Overview
The overview tab gives you a bird’s eye of your kingdom and what structures you have built. It's the same view you get from Show Town. In the beginning of the game the only thing you’ll have on your map is your dwellings. Mouse over the blank squares to get additional information concerning the level of your buildings or what research or resource is needed before that structure can be upgraded or built. Underneath the town view is a pane showing a summary of ongoing and recent actions. Click the links to see incoming and outgoing missions, buildings currently under construction and ongoing research.

Unit management Use this to view the status of your units and equip them with armor and weapons.
Group management allows you to put your units into groups for easier deployment
Armory management shows you the armor and weapons you have purchased and allows you to equip groups of soldiers and to sell obsolete equipment.
Unit missions Shows you the status of any missions you have active at the moment
Train Train new units.This link also gives a quick reference to the type of casualties taken in combat as you are able to replace lost units immediately
Blacksmith Visit the blacksmith to purchase armor and weapons.

As your town grows and resources increase you will be able to research new technologies to improve your kingdom. Certain technologies are required to build or upgrade buildings.
Economic Research Research affecting the amount of tax and resources produced by your citizens, as well as basic capabilities of some units.
Military Research Technologies related to the performance of your soldiers, caravans and other units.
Architecture Research Technologies related to buildings, usually to allow upgrades.
Armament Research Research to improve the quality of the armor and weapons which you can buy from the blacksmith.

World map This gives you a view of the whole MedievilWars Era III world.
Mailbox Click to open your mailbox. The number indicates the number of unread mails.
Market Buy and sell resources here.
Kingdom of ______ Takes you to your Nation or Kingdom forum.

Merchant Allows you to exchange Crystals for gold and resources.
Upgrade Account Allows you to purchase enhancements for your account.
Vote for CO This is a real "hidden Gem" . Voting pays off in ingame credits so vote often.
Forum A link to forums where you can discuss with your fellow players.
Options Click here to manage details of your account, including changing your user name or display name, password, etc.
Wiki Help - Tutorial Brings you to this tutorial.
Logout Logs you out of MedievilWars.
